These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Hulcity Hotels Uganda website and the reservation and stay at any of our properties — Hulcity Gold Hotel, Hulcity Silver Hotel, Alex Park Motel, and Valley Hotel — all located in Uganda.

By accessing our website or making a reservation, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully. Hulcity Hotels Uganda Limited is incorporated in Uganda under the laws of the Republic of Uganda.

All reservations are subject to availability and are not confirmed until you receive a written confirmation from us or our authorised booking platform.

• Guests must be at least 18 years of age to make a reservation.
• A valid credit or debit card is required to secure all bookings.
• Room rates are quoted in Uganda Shillings (UGX) or United States Dollars (USD) and are inclusive of all applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Rates are subject to change without notice for new reservations; confirmed bookings will not be affected.
• We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a booking at our sole discretion, in which case a full refund will be issued.

Standard check-in time is 14:00 (East Africa Time) and check-out is 11:00. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may attract an additional charge.

Guests are required to present a valid government-issued photo identification (passport, national ID, or driver's licence) at check-in. Non-citizen guests must present a valid passport in compliance with Ugandan immigration regulations.

Cancellation policies vary by rate type and are stated at the time of booking. General policies are as follows:

• Flexible rates — cancellation is free up to 24 hours before check-in. Cancellations within 24 hours will incur a charge equivalent to one night's stay.
• Non-refundable rates — the full booking amount is charged at the time of reservation and is non-refundable.
• No-show — failure to arrive without prior cancellation will result in a charge for the full reservation amount.
• Group bookings (10 or more rooms) — separate cancellation terms apply as detailed in your group booking agreement.

We accept payment by major credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard), mobile money (MTN MoMo, Airtel Money), and bank transfer. All payments are processed through our PCI-DSS-compliant payment gateway.

For international card transactions, your bank may apply foreign exchange fees. Hulcity Hotels is not responsible for any such additional charges.

Guests are expected to behave in a manner that is respectful to other guests, staff, and the property. We reserve the right to ask any guest to vacate the premises without refund if their behaviour is deemed disruptive, dangerous, or illegal.

• Smoking is strictly prohibited in all indoor areas. Designated smoking areas are available on request.
• Pets are not permitted unless explicitly agreed in writing at the time of booking.
• Noise levels must be kept to a minimum between 22:00 and 07:00.
• Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the room or property during their stay and will be charged accordingly.

To the fullest extent permitted by Ugandan law, Hulcity Hotels Uganda Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage arising from your stay or use of our website, including but not limited to loss of personal property, personal injury not caused by our negligence, or business interruption.

Our total liability to you in connection with any booking shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that booking.

All content on the Hulcity Hotels website — including text, images, logos, graphics, and software — is the property of Hulcity Hotels Uganda Limited or its licensors and is protected by Ugandan and international copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

Your use of our website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as described in the Privacy Policy.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uganda. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Uganda.

For international guests, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under the laws of your home country to the extent that those rights cannot be excluded by contract.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page indicates when they were last revised. Continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
